Wild Dog Trapping
Wild Dog Trapping
MNCRPM specialise in Wild Dog Trapping. Wild dogs are a significant pest animal in Australia. Wild dogs have both an economic and environmental impact. They cause significant damage to livestock, infrastructure and the environment while acting as carriers of other pests and diseases.
Wild dogs can vary in their appearance depending on its breed and heritage. Most are short haired and tan to golden in colour. Their size and weight can also differ, averaging between 15kg – 25kg, with some weighting as much as 60kg.
Our ethical wild dog trapping program combines the use of soft jaw traps and ground shooting.
Mid North Coast Rural Pest Management participates in research projects including the DNA mapping of all wild dogs dispatched.
Mid North Coast Rural Pest Management can assist in the creation of Wild Dog trapping and management plans as well as provide monitoring, surveillance and humane destruction of captured animals.
